Nautilus Care Home has worked with Better on Purpose (formerly Health and Safety Matters) for several years, delivering health and safety training, team building, professional development and service excellence training for our staff.

Last year, we invested in a company-wide development programme focused on strengthening teamwork, communication and the quality of care we provide to our residents. The training helped upskill our team, improve collaboration across departments, and reinforce a positive and supportive workplace culture. The learning was embedded into daily practice and contributed to Nautilus achieving both regional and national award recognition.

Following the success of this programme, we invited Zita back this year to deliver further training on continuous improvement, emotional intelligence and communication. The feedback from our team has been extremely positive, and the sessions have continued to support our commitment to excellence in care and staff development.
